Ubiquitous advertising means that every mobile company under the sun is virtually attacking us with their new deals and offers. It is confusing to choose from so many different available service providers and their numerous Mobile Phone Contract offers.
Using a phone on a contract basis is a wise idea. As a freelance design professional I am a moderate mobile phone user and need to be connected at all times. I also need to be able to make and return calls at all times. Pay as you go is clearly not the option for me.
An important thing to keep in mind while choosing a mobile phone contract is how long the contract is for. Very long contracts can mean that you miss out on other great deals that might come up. Typically, I find that 12-18 month contracts work best and anything longer than that is not worth it.

What handset do you want? And how important is it to you to get it? Is it worth spending additional monthly charges? These are some questions to ask while weighing different contracts. While comparing companies, it is good to do some research on the companies’ signal strength, network and customer service.
